CAIRO: In Hall county, 15 miles northwest of Grand Island, and has 150 inhabitants. It is on the Grand Island and Wyoming branch of the B. & M. R. R. The surrounding district is rich in tillable land and the grain yield is good. The church societies are the Methodist, United Brethren, Baptist and Christian. The A. O. R. W. and G. A. R. are the societies here.
